Kittys Holiday was founded in 2008.
At Kittys Holiday it is important that cats are looked after in the best possible way.
I am a trained animal keeper (checked by the IHK Berlin) and have been working in this profession since 1992. Before I started my own business, I worked for eight years at the Berlin shelter for cats.
There are a lot of pet sitters in Berlin, but I hope to improve your relation with your cats and along the way help you understand need of your cats .I don't just look after the velvet paws, I also like to give you a few little tips along the way make living together even more beautiful.
Some cat owners have great difficulties in respect to taking care of illnesses of their velvet paws either mentally and / or for professional reasons (due to time constraints) alone. In such cases, I am of course also at your side to give you tips for making life easier.
Caring for cats
Cats are very important to me, not only because I have my own, but also because it sweetens and beautifies my daily work.
At Kittys Holiday, each cat is looked after individually according to its needs.

The following services are included in the cat sitting prices:
- As a rule, snuggle, brush, play for 45 minutes (single booking per day) or 45 + 30 minutes (double booking per day)
- Toilet and feeding place hygiene maintained
- treats and food given
- if necessary, the administration of medication as per prescription provided by owner
- Removing of any remains of the cat (s) vomit etc and controlling/ keeping an eye on same
- Finally, vacuum / sweep on the last day of care
- Watering flowers and emptying mailboxes are part of the service that I take care of for granted when looking after as in my own home
Every care includes a little surprise for the tiger.
In my experience, a longer absence of the owner is well received by the cat or cats. I therefore see no concern about three weeks or more of ongoing care. Individual customized conditions can be requested from 6 weeks.
When bookings are made and service provided at your place of residence, the invoices for the same can be deducted from the tax return as a household service.
The cat sitting price per day is made up of the price of cat sitting and the journey (divided into zones) as well as any fees for parking space management (VAT is included). In which zone you live, please refer to which zone is my postal count.
For roads that have parking space management, please note that regional parking fees are added to the travel costs.

Why you should book Kittys Holiday?
Here is a compilation of the most important reasons why my service should be booked.
I am a trained animal keeper. In contrast to veterinary assistants, veterinary practitioners or behavioral therapists etc. Due to my specialize training among other things I am also able to assess animals’ behavior in a “complete living space” and not just in certain (stress-related) situations.
I have more than 2 decades of professional experience, and I have been a multi-cat owner for over 20 years.
Subsequent bookings can be booked easily.
Uncomplicated extension or shortening of the booking without cancellation fees.
If you move within Berlin, that's not a problem. I usually stay with you.
I specialize in dealing with the most common chronic diseases such as diabetes, asthma, kidney failure, thyroid and heart diseases etc.
If a cat is seems not well during my first visit, I prefer to go over again to make sure that everything is ok and act if necessary.
I accompany my customers and cats through (difficult) phases of cat keeping or illnesses (both physiologically and psychologically).
Kittys Holiday can be booked all year round.
Corresponding blocking times will be announced early.
I work full time, so Kittys Holiday is not just a side job for me.
For more flexibility in booking, your keys can be permanently stored with me in the safe.
I drive a normal car without advertising or the like so that potential burglars do not have it easier. The same applies to my clothing as well as to the daily emptying of the mailbox (which is why it is and remains a free service for me).
I am fluent in German and English.
I have business liability insurance for the services of Kittys Holiday.
The bills can be paid in installments after consultation.
All Kittys Holiday bills can be deducted as household services from the tax return.
